Stick Styles was born from discussions that quickly turned into ideas and then formulated into a plan detailed on scrap sheets of spare coaching paper in 2023 by teammates Shelley Rebman and Mia Morrell. During their down time between field hockey competitions, Shelley and Mia came to the realization that having been teammates on their South Jersey Edge field hockey team since 2018, with both athletes constantly thinking of, creating, and selling their bracelets in the shore communities of Ocean City and Sea Isle City New Jersey, that combining forces and going into business together was the next logical step. As trusted teammates both on and off the pitch, the young ladies continue to team up though this expanded business venture with a passion for entrepreneurship and a drive to bring creative designs at competitive prices.

At the urging of both of their mothers, who began to sign them up for local craft shows in Southern New Jersey, the young ladies soon found opportunities to expand their business. With local excitement now continuing to build and momentum on their side, local vendors began asking them if they could carry their bracelets in stores and at their events. Today, Stick Styles not only sell their bracelets in a variety of stores locally but also on prominent websites like Faire while also shipping their creations all over the country with the help of their moms, Jennifer and Ashley.

What started out as a hobby making Philadelphia sports bracelets to sell “down the shore,” their venture quickly grew into something much larger, having them create a host of different styles, including those with gold filled beads to fulfill shoppers' demands. It’s amazing, the girls agree, when they take a break from a recent match and discuss that for them, what started out as a business venture between two 14 year old girlfriends has now rapidly grown into something special that includes their moms.
